  • 2 tomatoes (finely chopped)

  • 2 green chilies (finely chopped)
  • 2 teaspoon oil
  • Salt - according to taste

  • Half teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Half teaspoon garam masala
  • Half teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp cream (optional)


Palak Paneer Recipe:- Method to make Palak Paneer:-

Step 1:- Preparation of spinach:-
1. First of all wash the spinach thoroughly so that the soil and pesticides on it are removed.
2. Boil the washed spinach with water in a large vessel. Boil it for 3 to 4 minutes until the spinach becomes soft.
3. Cool the boiled spinach immediately with cold water so that its green color remains.
4. After 2 minutes, remove the spinach from cold water and grind it in a blender.

Step 2:- Preparation of Paneer:-

1. Wash the paneer and cut it into small pieces.

Step 3:- Preparation of spices:-

1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Now add cumin and wait for crackled.

5. Now add finely chopped tomatoes to it and let it cook until the oil and spices separate.


Step 4:- Mixing spinach and spices:-

1. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder to the prepared spices and mix well.
2. Now add the prepared spinach paste to it and mix well and cook it for 5 to 8 minutes.
3. Then add salt according your taste. 

Step 5:- Paneer mixture:-

1. Add paneer pieces to the spinach mixture and mix slowly so that the paneer does not break.
2. Cook it for 5 more minutes on low flame so that the paneer mixes well with the spinach.

Step 6:- Final Preparation:-

1. Add garam masala to palak paneer and mix well.
2. If you want to add cream to it, then add 2 teaspoons of cream and mix it well. Adding cream will enhance the taste of palak paneer even more.
